At Worland Guitars all custom instruments are hand built to your specifications. Standard models are available with or without options or I can design and build a completely unique instrument. My Prairie model is available with either a cedar or spruce top and I try keep them in stock for immediate shipment.

If you have questions about what models and woods best suit your playing style I am happy to answer any questions.

To get a ball park price on a custom guitar, a custom electric starts around $500 for something bare bones, For $1000-2000 you can get a really nice custom electric. $3000-5000 will get you something outrageous. Custom acoustics start around $1500. For $2000-4000 you can get a beautiful custom acoustic. $5000 and up gets you a real work of art. You can start by emailing me for a specific price quote.

Currently, Worland Guitars are only available directly from the luthier’s workshop. Lead time for an instrument is about 6-9 months. I will keep you posted via email about the status of your guitar and email photos of the construction progress. Occasionally I have some instruments in stock that I usually list on Reverb.com.

Payment terms are approximately 50% down payment to reserve a spot in the production schedule and the remaining amount is due prior to shipment. If you need to make smaller payments or stretch them out over time, that’s fine too. Just let me know.

As with any mail order purchase, you can never be quite sure that what you are ordering will be exactly what you expected. So my policy is to let you try out your new instrument for 30 days, and if for any reason you are not completely in love with your new guitar you may return it for modifications, another instrument, or a refund. I want you and your guitar to have a long and happy life together.

If you have more questions you see my FAQ page.
