For sale is a new handmade
acoustic guitar made by myself, Jim Worland. This is a high end
guitar
built with the finest materials and craftsmanship. This guitar
has been at a retailer for a few months so it has been played
very little and is in brand new condition except for some minor
fingernail scratches around the pickguard.
The sound is well balanced with solid bass and bright trebles. Fairly loud with good sustain. Action is nice and low. This guitar works well for both flatpicking or fingerstyle.
The body size is similar
to a Taylor grand auditorium or what is usually refered to as
a small jumbo or
concert jumbo. The lower bout is 16" making it a full size
guitar but the rounded lower bout makes it
comfortable to get your arm around. The body depth is about 4.5".
The top is western red cedar,
a great wood for fingerstyle playing. It responds well to a light
touch and
offers plenty of subtlty and dynamics. The back and sides are
made from some amazing birdseye maple,
which brightens up the cedar top and gives the guitar more projection.
Binding around the body
is black with ivoroid binding around the fingerboard and peghead.
The unique
woods on this guitar make it really stand out as something special.
Regular price for this guitar is $3450 but since it has been in a showroom and has some slight wear i am offering it to you for half the regualr price: $1725
